My background
Born in Kitchener and now residing in Stratford, ON, I have a strong background in travel and hospitality. After spending four years working for a cruise line and traveling throughout the Middle East, I was inspired to source luxury towels made from eco-friendly textiles. That's how I discovered a towel that dries quicker than a regular beach towel, which I now refer to as Lunar Spring Tide.

Every product at Lunar Spring Tide is thoughtfully made with attention to detail, showcasing our commitment to eco-friendly textiles. Our journey to Turkey enabled us to source luxury towels that not only look amazing but also feel soft and luxurious against the skin.
How I got started
I became interested in styling my home with luxury towels, particularly Turkish towels, after seeing the benefits they provided. Lunar Spring Tide is an eco-friendly brand that gives back to our oceans with every purchase. We care about the environment and our clients’ well-being, so we traveled to Turkey to find the safest textiles. Our Turkish towels are crafted from high-quality 100% Turkish cotton and are OEKO TEX certified “Standard 100,” ensuring they are free from toxins and composed solely of raw material. This makes them the perfect self-care item.
My introduction to Turkish towels came during a Turkish henna party, similar to a North American bachelorette party. We enjoyed a Turkish hammam, a spa where we danced the night away, feasted like queens, and had a wonderfully relaxing evening. In the end, I received a Turkish towel known as a Peshtemal, inspiring me to share this beautiful gift with the world and make it my own.
Although our products are sourced from Turkey, they resonate with Canada, as Haida Gwaii in British Columbia inspired our most recent collection. We are also proud to be a female-owned brand based in Ontario, Canada.
